Prema Gavkkar was honored with the Best Teacher Award at the Teachers’ Day celebrations held at the Vidyadarshana Educational Institute. President of the Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashram in Tumkur, Sri Sri Veerasananda Sarasvati Swamiji, participated in the program and blessed the event. Retired lecturers were MN Hegde, lecturer DK Ganvkar, Vishwadarshana Education Institute manager Gururaja Kundapura and Mukta Shankar.
