Vishwadarshana B.Ed College
Vishwadarshana College of Education Yellapur was established in 2017. This College is the part of Vishwadarshana Education Society Yellapur®. Our college is located in disturbance free environment of the Yellapur Town. The College is committed to excel in teaching, training, capacity building, entrepreneurship development, social service and community development activities. The institution is very much aware that the dimension and quality of education keeps on changing with time. The institution is intended to inculcate the moral social, cultural and spiritual values among the student teachers. The institution prioritises, imparting the values with respect to dignity of labour, human rights and duties; Gender equality, Environmental protection, respect towards individual differences and respect to our culture. The institution is involved in transforming teacher trainees to become reflective practitioners, constructive and productive teachers who can effectively build a strong and modern society.
Vishwadarshana college of education is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (N.C.T.E). And the college is affiliated to Karnataka University Dharwad.
Course Details
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.):
The B.Ed. course is of Two years and is under Karnataka University and recognised by the NCTE
Eligibility for the course :
- Graduate who has passed the three year degree examination in any degree conducted by any recognised University as equivalent there to by the University, shell be eligible for admission to the degree of bachelor of education . provided:
- He/ she has secured at least 50%marks in aggregate either in the Bachelor’s degree and/in the Master’s degree or any other qualification equivalent there to are eligible for B.Ed. admission.
- Student of Universities other then Karnataka University Should produced the Migration Certificate.
He/she should have studied in any one of the languages and two out of the three electives among the subject specified below
- Languages : English, Kannada, Hindi.
- Electives : Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Mathematics
- Arts: History, Political science, Sociology, Geography Economics, Education.

Content based instructional methodology – I & II. The college offers the following Combination of subjects.
- Kannada and History
- Kannada and Geography
- History and Geography
- English and History
- English and Geography
- Hindi and History
- Hindi and Geography
- Physical Science and Biological science
Area of specialization: Besides the two subjects under Contend Based Instruction methodology, each student takes one of the following subjects under the Area of specialization.
- Action research.
- Guidance and counseling
- Value Education
- Environmental Education
- Computer Education
Note
- Fees will be collected as fixed by the government of Karnataka and will be notified later.
- Ragging is strictly prohibited. if any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the College the necessary action will be taken as per the regulation of the University.
- Further instruction on any changes in B.Ed. regulations will be provided after notification by the Government.
- College regulations will be notified at the time of admission.
